Our Milky needs some good wishes and prayers. We almost lost her last year and we have been keeping her going with supplements and meds, accupuncture. Milky has trouble times walking and has no real control of her hind legs. Sometimes she just poops. Can't control it.
She is eating and seems happy still but you can still see the struggle she is having. Last night she was having trouble getting up off the dog beg and was whimpering. I went over and helped her up.
Milky is still stubborn girl, which is good. She goes out and walks in the kiddle pool. LOL
If you could send some good vibes her way would be great.

She does tend to have trouble walking but she still walks in the kiddle pool on her way to pottie.

She's getting around somewhat better. Still the leg dropsy. She did poo in her sleep on the dog bed and had liquid poo. I cleaned her up. She had no control of her back side.
She is still alert and ate dinner.

Had a bad feeling about Milky yesterday and when I got home she was on the floor struggling to get up and in her poo.
I went to her and picked her up. It was hard cause the poo was slippery. I got her up and she kept falling down. Her backside had nothing. I then pick her all the way up and put her on the dog bed. She was so stressed.

The other dogs of course where excited. I got them out. Milky still kept trying to walk to the dinning room and not doing well. I then got her back on the dog bed.
Got the other dogs in and got the food ready. She is very stubborn and she was in the kitchen sitting and sliding.
Got the other dogs feed and got her back on the dog bed and she ate. She ate well. After she ate, I gave her all her meds. Took her out and cleaned her up a bit. The meds kicked in and she was able to walk better.
I gave her some water and she laid down on her dog beg the rest of the night and slept. She didn't get up til this morning.
This morning she was walking around best she could.

I hope she does ok today while I am at work. I am worried.

Milky had a bad tumble. Trish got home to find here laid out. She hit the edge of fireplace and knocked her bowll and stand over. She got some scraps and is worn out. Trish got her comfy and gave Milky a bit of food and water. Milky is resting now.

She had issues again getting up when we got home yesterday. Poor girl. Today we got her up and had her walk around some. I am sure here bruises and scrapes are hurting.

We wrapped her leg that has a nice cut. Maybe she'll stop licking. She's walking a bit better but still sore.

Rough morning for Milky. She ate and is comfy now. We got her all set up with lots of blankets and dog beds she can walk on if she has to get up when we are at work.

Trish figured it out. Could be that she is getting her medicine late on Thurs night since we work late. And it wears off by Friday morning. Just a thought.

Milky had a really bad day on Sunday. We got home from the beach and there was blood all on the floor, pee and she was drenched in pee.
We guess she got up slipped and fell and couldn't get up. She was standing when we got to the gate.
We cleaned her up, cleaned up the mess. Poor baby girl.

Monday, she got a bath as well as Paisley and Bear.

She is all clean now. biggrin.gif Please send prayers for Milky.

Trish got home first tonight and Milky again fell. Trish cleaned her up and now Milky is resting on her dog beg wrapped in a blanket. Poor girl.

Milky would not eat her breakfast and even spit out a cheeseburger from Mcd. We made the decision and taking her later today.

Everytime I checked Facebook I just cried. I'm glad I'm in a cubicle....my heart just broke when I read your post this morning. I guess we all mourn together when something like this happens.
But like I said, they're the strongest of us all. They put us in auto pilot & guide us along. You're never alone during a time like this.
I can honestly say I know how you feel. I'm so sorry. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh116/KKtagShop/Smileys/hug.gif

My friend. I am so sorry for your loss of Milky. I know you and Trish did all you could for her. You care so well for all you pets. Milky knows she was loved by you both.
She is now pain free and I am sure she is with your other dogs.

Run free sweet Milky.
