Everything Greyhound > Greyhound 911 > Transport help needed TX to NY

Posted by: 2NOFLEAS Oct 1 2010, 06:15 AM
Nijah has a chance for her first forever home up in Hamburg, NY. We have one idea on how to get her up here, but we're trying to get something better for her - we need ideas for a not so stressful (on her or the humans), not so expensive and before it snows transport. She'll be ready in a couple of weeks if all goes as well as it's going from her spay.

I'm working directly with Robin from TIGR and her foster mom Suzy (in San Antonio).

If anyone has any suggestions or can help, please post here, email at btwiepert@gmail.com or call me: cell: 716 984 8746

After a lot of tears and talks we came to the conclusion that we'll let TIGR in TX list Nijah as available. The only way we would be able to get her would be in person - per the group and doing that leaves our window of opportunity very small at this point in time. We all agree that we don't want to risk her safety in a transport. I'm glad that they are so protective. Maybe if the guy or whom ever sold Nijah to this 'guy' in TX was also that protective, these pups wouldn't have been the situation they are in now and others might still be alive.

I thank everyone that has tried to help us to bring her to NY for all their concern, friendship, caring and love for her. She is one special pup and we are proud and honored to have at least had the opportunity to try to bring her into our family. If it is meant to be, something will happen to guide us back to her. Otherwise, we will not hold her up from going to another family. We love her too much to do that.
