Yes, FL always will. It's like a staple part of their state's culture. Racing has been going on for thousand of years and will continue.

Organized greyhound racing has been going on for about a hundred years. Prior to that, for centuries, the greyhound was used to hunt and eventually in some forms of live coursing events. They were not raced as you know it now for thousands of years as you claim. Racing multiple dogs on a track came with the invention of the mechanical lure about a century ago.
