I got run over my greyhounds and nursed a hematoma for months on my leg plus ended up in the ER twice and also in the hospital. Still is not fully healed but then being a diabetic does not help either.

| I hear you, been beat up, bruised, bloody and scared by GHs and Whippets. When catching GHs at the escape you have got to be alert, the pups are focused of the lure. That man was walking his hands in his pockets not paying attention, NOT GOOD. He learned a lesson the hard way.
The first thing we teach new people to Lure Coursing or Racing,,, when picking up a GH at the end,,,," Stand still till they ALL have stopped running" "Safety First" One of mine use to over shoot the lure turn around and come back fast, alway had to brief people to watch out for him.
