Hope this is the right place - if not - please move and correct.....

An auction for the hounds seized by Fort Worth Animal Control and taken in by several groups has begun.

The proceeds of this auction will benefit the following groups, whose medical funds are challenged by the magnitude of care required by these dogs:

Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT)
Greyhounds Unlimited (GU)
Texas Italian Greyhound Rescue (TIGR)
Collin County Humane Society (CCHS)
Saluki Tree of Life Alliance (STOLA)
It's a Grey Area Greyhound Adoption
All Breed Rescue of Texas

The community's generosity has been truly remarkable. Please continue to bid high for these hounds.

Bidding will go into a frenzy tonight and those bids are really high

I'm thinking of a different challenge........... someone can pick the total amount raised..... closest person to that amount can pick which one of the groups listed for this auction that I'll send a box of goodies for the rescue dogs. The secondary challenge to this - is to get everyone to bid enough to get it to that amount......

so many challenges on the auction and I think yours is really greyt Tina
There are so many posts on GT that if you are away from the computer too long there are at least 2 to 3 pages to catch up on. There are new pictures and the pups are looking greyt, filling out and the fur is starting to grow back in and some of the injuries are just about healed. Saw a couple of pictures of Max, half brother to my two boys and his leg is healed and his coat is shining

Got donation for the pups at the craft show which includes toes, note card, fancy sticky notes and stickers. Also some painted egg from Russia (show was in an Orthodox Church) and a butterfly also from Russia - now I have to figure out which group gets what. I also had doggy pj's and a beautiful heart bracelet donated. Gotta get moving and get some boxes packed for the groups that have these pups which are GALT, GU and TIGR have the deer hounds, etc.
