How long?

When I am not home I know they are usually sleeping and if I am not active around the house such as sewing, at the computer, etc. they sleep. If I go into the kitchen or to the front or sliding doors they are right there I guess they are afraid they will miss something

I never really tried to figure that out. I know it's a lot, but I guess it depends.

I'm thinking 18/20...they sleep pretty much all the time. When I'm not home, they're sleeping. When I'm home, they're sleeping. The boys Matthew & Peter said that when they come over, they're usually asleep & they wake them up. They said Kandy is usually awake when they come in, but she stretches like she's been asleep.

I would say at least 18 hours

I'm thinking maybe 7 - 8 hours during the day since my neighbor hears them barking at outside interests. They sleep a good 7 hours a night. I don't think they are really asleep when I'm home because they will follow me up and down as I go about my business. I guess a safe total guess would be 15 - 18 hours a day.

They don't mind sleeping all those hours?

Mine would sleep all day if it were not for potty, food and outside happenings

This seems to depend on what I'm doing too. Like some other posts I saw, if I'm sitting at the computer or watching TV, she'll sleep. If I'm up, she's following.

mine can be sound asleep but as soon as I head for the kitchen they are right there

On weekends, their sleep pattern is greatly diminished. They follow me everywhere and love going in the car with me, so then they only sleep around 10 hours.

If I'm in the kitchen one eye is open, if I open the door they are right there. Otherwise they are sound asleep, either snoring or dreaming or both.
