"A two-year, multi-institutional study funded by the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation and the Collie Health Foundation has identified a new drug-pregabalin-as an effective anti-seizure option for dogs with poorly controlled epilepsy."

That is very interesting, two of my bridge boys were seizure dogs and we were lucky to be able to control the seizures with phenobarb, but there are alot of seizure dogs that phenobarb does not help and hopefully this drug with give them another option.

We are using phenobarbital for EZ along with KBr and his thyroid meds for hypothyroidism.

I've had Gabby on pheno since 2002 & finally got her settled on it. I can't remember the last seizure she had. She'll be 14 in May.
