At Sandy Paws this year we heard a talk from Dr. Radcliffe, vet from West Virginia.
His talk was great and he talked about how stem cells are the wave of the future for your pet. He also said he is doing an experiment on one of his greyhounds. Injecting the dogs stem cells every 18 months. He wants to see how this will prolong the dogs life, and may even stop cancer and other symptoms greyhounds die from.
It's not a hard procedure. When he does a dental on his dog, he will gather stem cells from his dog then.
He wants greyhounds to live longer and is hoping his greyhound will make it to 20.
Anyone heard of this vet? Here is a link to their website.

I heard his talks were really interesting, especially about why they "roach" when they get comfortable.

He also advocates preventative supplements starting at an early age, which I have always given my dogs from the day I adopt them. Nice to get some confirmation considering all the $$ I spend. :yah:

Yes, he did talk about supplements in his talk and the greyhound gang lady was there and she talked a bit too.

We have all ours on her supplements.
