Here's my latest foster doggie. This is Alan, he broke his leg & the kennel who has a farm over near Southland had him vetted, rehabbed him, neutered & then puts in $100 to the adoption group. Can't beat that. His trainer's family is really great, they love their dogs.
Anyway I picked him up last night, he came in, had some dinner, went into a crate & went to sleep.....all night long.
He leaves the 21st for St Louis. He'll make someone a really great pet, he's real affectionate.

Alot of the Rescue Racer dogs go to a foster home with intent to adopt. Which from what I have heard is very successful. I think he'll make a good pet, but I think he's going to need another dog to be in the home with him. He's very velcro & so polite. He stands outside the back door while every one else comes in, and he waits to be asked to come inside.
He knows his limits right now as far as playing, he's another broken hock survivor. Him & Danger do alot of standing on the sidelines watching Thurles & Smiley do laps.
I like his coloring, fawn/brindle & white. His tail is always wagging. :emo-ghpool: Kinda like this guy.
Alan of Ruckus turned out to be a fun lil dog. He rode to Missouri with me yesterday morning & is in a great foster home. He's already found the futon up there. She said he slept on it all day, ate dinner & crawled back up there & was on it as we were writing.
Tomorrow evening I pick up Topaz Lass. Some of ya'll know NYgreys (Dee)...Dee had PA ShawneeLass, Lass is the mother of several great racers, Constant Boogie, Lass Dance, Topaz Lass & Flupascrackerbox to name a few.
I of course, made sure Cheryl sent some pictures of Topaz to Dee & Dee instantly thought it was some old photos Cheryl had found of Lass...
I've hinted to Dee about adopting Topaz too. he he he
So I'll be writing some stuff about Topaz starting tomorrow night.
