Gosh...7 or 8 yrs ago at the adoption kennel there is this fawn greyhound named Jack. He had a bark & a snarl on him that I swear if I didn't know better, I'd swear he would bite your face off if you opened the crate door. People would come in & be appauled at his behavior. He was teased by people just standing there, some people would actually put their finger up to the crate door & he'd snap at them.
I always thought...this dog could hurt someone if we adopt him out. So one weekend, I came in & Jack was gone. Someone adopted him. Two weeks later, he was back. I thought that was so unfair, the excuse was lame. So I said, I'll take him home with me.
Jack was nothing like the dog in the crate. Yeah he has space issues, but he's never bitten anyone, only growls & shows his teeth & all of my others have learned to just ignore him. He's a great bed partner, he actually doesn't like to snuggle, but in the cooler months he likes to sleep close for warmth.
So last night I was messing with my new phone & took this picture. It shows the real Jack.

Thanks. He's such a happy boy. He's very humble, minds his own business. He used to love to run, but 2 yrs ago he hurt his ankle playing with one of the younger fosters & even though he's on Tramadol & it helps, he associates running with pain. He likes laying on the momma's bed more than anything. He's on my bed right now watching tv. he he he
