Well Pass is now schooling at Southland for Jeff Lovely's kennel. I found out a few weeks ago, he was trained by Keith Thomas, who was Thurles' breeder/owner/trainer until Ed Mullen bought him. So finding this out & actually talking to Keith before Pass (E Pup) came to Southland was awesome.
Here's Keith & I a few weeks ago. I haven't seen him in 2 yrs.

Jay Roberts of Rip Curtis, Sideline Warning & Constant Boogie fame, has been either going to the farm or now to the kennel to get me some pictures of Pass.
Here's some pix he took at about 10 months old.

With his sister Trixie & brother Tremor. The farm gave them TRE names after daddy Trent Lee. But Jay let the racing kennel know his name is Pass from now on.

:blkgrey: Ya'll are so sweet. Well I got an email from Jay Saturday morning, they're going to out of the box school them, weather permitting this morning & Thursday, then again next Tuesday & Thursday, weather permitting, then if all goes well, he'll officially maiden race the next week. I am so stoked I can't stand it. I hope it's on an evening race after work. If not, that's okay, I know Jay will be there.
Did I mention I was taking the FedEx buy out? AND retiring? I'm going to try to find a very flexible part time job so I can run over there at night to watch him race.
I'm excited, its like a whole new life.
I just noticed I posted a picture of his brother. Pass wears purple, and this pup had on a yellow/off white collar. That's I believe Clints Joe who will be running at Orlando I believe. I think the sister, Onside Kick & Sideline Pass are the only ones that are going to run at Southland, Jay's friend Flip bought her.

I'm very exciting about the buy out & retirement. As I've told alot of folks, how many companies pay you to leave?
I am going to do some work on my house, get a gently used SUV and will look for a part time job maybe. Do some work around the church also.
....
On the Sideline Pass side....I was with Jay both Friday & Saturday over at Southland. He talked to one of the employees of Pass' kennel & she said those pups are so much fun. They're strong & very healthy...they're schooling really good. We watched his brother Joe Clint last night at Orlando & he broke out strong, was in 2nd until the 2nd turn & then got tired (Maiden race) and ended up 5th. So we're very encouraged. Trent Lee puts out some really good pups.
Another reason I love going to Southland, I get to see alot of Trent puppies and so it gives me an idea of what Pass is going to look like.
I'll get my friend Cheryl over there on matinee days to take pictures of him racing. Jay has a new camera also so that's going to be alot of fun.
Thank you for ya'lls support! :blkgrey:

That's cool.

Why don't you try to get a PT job at Southland. Seems like you know folks there.

Can't wait to see Sideline Pass racing.
