Poor puppy....I'm just going to start where he schooled at Southland. He just couldn't race there. He schooled I want to say 4 times.
He enjoyed seeing the track & meeting new friends.

Then he was moved to Sanford Orlando. We (his owner Jay & I) thought he was finally catching on to racing at SanOrl, and then the kennel he was in, moved.

He was really doing good in Orlando. Really catching on.
He moved to Derby Lane. Neither Jay his owner, nor I were happy, but not much we could do or say.

The entire litter moved to Derby, but after about 7 tries, they moved everyone to Sanford Orlando, then they moved Pass to Birmingham.
So far we're okay with that. Jay was hoping that he could move him back to Southland by the first of the year, and I think he's still hoping for that.
In the meantime, Pass seems to be catching on to the game, he's racing strong too. Wise, smart racing. He's in Grade A so we're not complaining too much. I'd just really like to see him race in person.
Birmingham isn't that far, and we've talked about driving down there for a matinee race & wouldn't you know it, he's racing in the matinee tomorrow & we're got ice storms all over the place.
Birmingham pictures!!! Gosh I forgot to finish!!!

They seem to race him a lot out of the same boxes!

Here's one for the books, yep that's him in the Red.

I do too. I can sure tell he's trying. He likes the #1 box & the #8 box. I don't like him racing in Grade A. But I think a couple of more runs in that grade & he's going to start running tougher.
Here's a picture I forgot to post:

The learning curve is high when a pup goes to the track, he'll learn and may go to another track. I followed a dog the started at Ebro ended up at Southland running AA.
Best of Luck with him !

Thank you for the encouraging words. He did pretty good today. He was in the 3 box in the 7th race & he raced pretty smart, he went inside quick, got to the escape & I don't think he bumped them, but 2 dogs went wide which opened it up for him. He came in 4th. Safely home too!

I went to a wedding vow renewal today, it was awesome. Funny. The couple met at this country bar, 30+ years ago & have been married for 25 yrs. So they danced out of the church at the end of the wedding. It was good.
Good food too!!!
Then back into the cold.

Tuesday night, another 4th. He's down to Grade B, but racing against some A dogs. Grade TA. I wish we could either move him to Florida or move him to Southland. The trainer, Gary Street is doing a great job with him.

Well Saturday he came out of the 4 box & in the escape he got slammed to the outside into last place. He looked strong trying to come back. Just not enough track. I think if it had happened in a longer race, he probably could've caught up another 3rd or 4th. I figured he'd race again tonight, but I guess not. They race him about every 3 to 4 days.

Good job. When Paisley raced she stayed mostly in A-B and near the end in C. Ike always was in A and a Stakes racer.

Little man running this afternoon. I thought it was bad, but Jay says a lot of time when you run them that close together, it fires them up.
He's not running against HS Billy, thank goodness. That dog has 10 interferences against him. He was biting at Pass as they crossed the finish line. He's not up for racing today, I think it's time to retire him.
Well puppy came in 7th. He was in 4th at the escape and then just didn't seem to be in the race. His next race is on Friday evening. Obviously racing that close together is not a good idea.

Not one of his best races last night, he came in 5th. He just doesn't race good in Grade A. He's getting there though.
He came out of the box okay, had to scramble to keep up. Was being pinched all over the front stretch. Got in a hurry at the escape & pushed alittle to the rail, then got pushed back & went outside nearly tripping over another dog. But he never gave up. I could see him trying very hard to make up time.
The pup is trying. I'm pleased.
