I don't know how to attach flyers here - email me for copies

I highly suggest: contacting local rescue groups, and http://www.lostmydoggie.com/ fees select "The Purple Greyhound" when indicating who referred you- We've had success with their service in that it brought attention to the street flyers even in one case they didn't have any sightings for 10 days and moments after the call - lots of sightings came in.

other things you might want to check into............ Tourist places - tourists seem to see things and do things more often than people doing their every day things.
Pizza places - in some searches we've worked with owners to have a flyer put on every box - the small flyer I've attached helps. Also with florists and anyone who has a job that travels - couriers, bus drivers, taxi, etc.
Schools and churches
Pet businesses - pet walkers, sitters, etc....... the other flyer attached has brought more voluteers to the search on site (from people faxing flyers to businesses)
We've also contacted non-greyhound rescue places and got more people to volunteer.
don't give up hope - one grey survived the winter and months in Northern VT. We've also found greys as far away as 75mi..... - they sometimes hitch rides with people and truckers and get aways from them again in other areas.
The sil. flyer is the best one to post up for drivers, etc to see - on bright colored paper - put in plastic sheets to protect from rain.
For volunteers on site - a closed bin at a convenient place filled with supplies is helpful. You can also have maps, updates and a list of places that need to be done or that have been done so people can help when ever they can.
You can get magnetic sheets at staples or whereever that go in a home printer to put a flyer on sides of vehicles (you may want to spray to protect from weather).
Be sure to check shelters in person - you'd be surprised how many "labs" and other breeds turned out to be greyhounds or visa versa.
Road maintence people, construction, etc are also good places to get flyers to.

Meantime - here's some other ideas:

hundreds of flyers of the sil. flyer on bright colored paper, use the other one to hand out to people and try to get you more help.
place a covered bin in a convenient place with supplies for searchers to get as they need, flyers, maps, tape etc.
It's a lot of work and you need to get a team together as soon as possible. Contact the local greyhound rescue groups and non-greyhound rescue groups as well - you'll get volunteers.
http://www.greyhoundsupport.org/

There's a lot we can do - no matter where we are - people can call local places and fax flyers for you, cross post to other sites, there's a lot. Please email me if remote help is need and if we can cross post.

Best wishes and I hope she's home soon.

Just got this email.

From her owners:
"Cleo is home!!! We had 2 phone calls with sightings this morning, about 1/4 mile from our house. Elke went out with our other grey, and found her. She came over to Albo. My wife got the leash on her, and she is home safe!
We want to thank all the grey lovers who came out to help us, and all the people who called with sightings. God bless you all!! "
