I know this has been talked (screamed) about many times in the past. But why do people insist on doing this??? I walk my dogs on the street and have been charged by dogs, so, my dogs are "on guard". A week or so ago a dog went out of its electric fence while the owner was taking her garbage to the street. I beg her to call her dog she just stared at me. Then as the dog was circling me an my 4 dogs, she just stared and would not come over to get her dog. 2 greys were pretty calm, my 2 mixes were going crazy, guarding me from the dog. No the dog was not mean, but how are my dogs supposed to know? So I kicked at the dog and it finally went back into its yard. The woman just turns and walks back to her house, no "sorry", nothing. Then last night I am heading back to the house. I see a lady and her off leash beagle at the end of her drive. At that point the dog is in her yard. Before I get too close I yell up to ask her if the dog is on leash. She says no. So I ask her if the dog will stay in its yard. She tells me yes. Well she was wrong. I dog came out into the street and circled me. Again I have 4 dogs, 2 going bonkers. I ask her to please come get her dog. She just stares at her dog. I ask her again and she asks if my dogs are going to attack. I tell her no, but that it is pretty difficult walking when her dog is off leash, off her property and circling my dogs. Why do people feel it is just fine and dandy to have there dog off leash and off their property? I do not want to start any problem with my neighbors. So , no I am not going to call animal control. I would only do that if the dog seemed vicious. I have to live there. But I just really do not understand their thinking this is OK. I have never ever thought that I could do this with any of my dogs.

Hello. I heard about this site since Greybark is going away. I have 3 greys now and 2 mixes. I have had greys since 1996. My oldest is Tally and she will be 13 in Jan 2012. Mindy was 11 in May and my newest is Annie and she was 2 in April. I will try to get around to getting some photos on here.
