Hello, everyone I am back. Wow, this has been such a tough time for me. Three weeks ago today, I lost my beloved Misty to bone cancer. I had NO IDEA! We started our second walk of the day and she screamed and landed on the ground with a broken right shoulder, once she had x-rays done it was confirmed she had cancer and it was spreading to her lungs. I was in total shock, I could not believe it. It was horrible, and I had to let her go. She almost made it to 13, she was the perfect dog and I loved her soo much. She went to the nursing home with me and even received an award for being a volunteer, my Misty. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a60/dad2paisley/Icons/love.gif I am very blessed to have had her, she was the perfect dog. Speaking of dogs, well, I had to find a home for Dakota, after she pulled me down on three different times, while walking, torn my shirts to shed and bite me, she even broke my skin, she was a very powerful dog. She is living with a wonderful family in a big house that sits on forty acres, a built in swimming pool and she has her own bedroom, plus Terry, the wife grew up with malamutes, she even bred them while in college. Both she and her husband love her and they went hiking with her this past weekend. O.K. now the BIG NEWS, I adopted a new greyhound, yesterday from Greyhound Angels. Her race name was Passion Trent, she is just wonderful. She is all black with a white chest and white toes, her father is Trent Lee. She is 100% cat safe and as sweet as ever!! I changed her name to Penny Trent. Penny did real well last evening in her new home and with my seven cats. My Athena has already washed Penny's toes, my Athena is the cleaner, she gives everyone a bath. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a60/dad2paisley/Icons/throfl.gif Penny is enjoying her walks, she walks very well on the leash and she is enjoying her meals and her treats and of course her Frosty Paws ice cream. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys that Penny is three years old. She is a welcomed addition to our home. I'm sure Misty had her paw in this, to find the right greyhound for me and one who will protect Misty's kitties. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a60/dad2paisley/Icons/love.gif
